When your parents and teachers are all over you about your homework, you are trying to do it, but can’t with them constantly in your ear?
All of my teachers at all of the different schools I have been at have always been on to me about my homework. I do it, I turn it in, but I don’t get credit for it. The school I am at now gives you a separate grade for turning it in, and another for getting it right. I don’t get either. I’ve done it. If my cat could speak, she could vouch for me. She sits in my room all night watching me. When I’m done with my homework, I put it in my backpack, and take it to school the next morning. I turn it in, I look at the online gradebook a week later, guess what.

The reason my question includes parents, is because as a result of them recieving emails from my teachers, as well as seeing the online gradebook saying that I don’t a. understand the topic and b. haven’t turned the assignment in, the have disscussed punishments with my teachers. Punishment 1. Grounded. Punishment 2. Detention for two weeks. Punishment 3. No sports or extracurricular activities, meaning, No guitar. No basketball. No Volleyball. No Art. No Speech. No Dressage Lessons. No Voice Lessons. No Spanish. No Shark Studies. No Manga. Oh, and what about my band? Guess what! I can forget about that too. The only things I have to look forward to are Math, Science, English, Social Studies and a little bit of reading. With the rules of Punishment 3 enforced, I get an hour of reading a week, unless it is done in English, as school assigned work.

Oh, and how to you explain to your basketball coach that your life has been confiscated by your parents? Oh, that’s right, you can’t.
These people who seem to be ruining all your fun are hoping you might become something and actually be more to humanity than another expectant hand out. Instead of accusing everyone is involved in a conspiracy to make you miserable, why don’t you try and get a list of your own that when you turn in the homework the teacher signs for it?If someone is screwing with you by taking your homework just for the purpose of being able to or maybe worse think about why anyone would do such a thing? Why don’t you not play sports or play guitar until you deserve to? Make those wants your rewards, things you deserve to get to do because you got done what needed getting done first. Like bringing your grades up. As long as you think it’s the world against you, it will be. If you want it to change, make it change. Make your own homework check-in list and carry it safely tucked away with classes, teachers, assignments, dates given, dates expected and who received it when you do turn it in with a signature line and a date line for when you did turn it in. Then, quit watching commercials and read something like the Dirk Pitt books. Become a rock star after you can read and write.
