I am getting married in May, and I would like to sing a short hymn after the ceremony by myself. (I’m the groom in case you were wondering)
I would like the meaning of the song to have some meaning, such as being thankful for my blessings.
I don’t mind singing in Latin or another language.
The wedding will be held in an Anglican church.
Someone suggested Ave Maria to me, which is nice, but the meaning (The Virgin Mary) is not relevant to a wedding.
Any suggestions?
What ever you sing will be what ever your favourite is. It should not be necessary to make it a hymn, it should be something that will, in the future years of your marriage, have special meaning to you both. Pick something that can become a tradition for your marriage.
