This is a tone that is devoid of any artificial style. But if the same experiment were to be given with 10 classical singers the difference becomes less noticeable. So many Classical singers are very difficult for the average listener to tell apart. This is due to the fact that this approach to signing is lees based around the natural speaking voice than contemporary is. Within seconds a child can hear a pop or rock singer singing on the radio and know exactly who it is. I would bet my last dollar that on average this is not true with even followers of this particular vocal style. And this is the very reason classical signing is so difficult to master because it is not based on the speaking voice, as is the contemporary approach. So therefore, we must leave out any hint of style or artificiality while developing our pure tone.
