I've been quoted from $50/half hour upwards…I'm a student and have a lot of money, is there another option? I would even take group classes, if such exist. Thanks!

you say your a student, so i'm guessing college student? if you are you could probably take private vocal lessons with a music professor for free & get credit for that class.
