Plus, do all dairy products count? And does it make a difference how recently you ate/drank the icecream, milk, etc?
dairy products can coat your throat – for some it's worse than others. i stay away from it a good 2 hours prior (except in coffee) and will often take a bottle of water with a little lemon juice – helps to clear the mucus out if there happens to be any. also when i have a sore throat -warm milk.
