their are a bunch of singers that never have voice lessons & they are excellent, sadly..im not one of those, i have taken singing lessons for about 10 months & recently had to quit (its only with the school, so its supposed to start again sometime this or next month) I practice all the time, but it always sounds the same. how many years will it take me to get really good & try to persue it as a career?
First, analyze or ask your teacher what you need to work on. Breath control? Phrasing? Pitch problems? Then ask for suggestions on overcoming them. Breath is usually the main problem.
