Tips, Tricks and Tools To Help You Sing!

How would you sing the word Iron properly?

I am preparing a classical solo for a Christmas CD (In the Bleak Midwinter) and the word Iron is in it. I have heard to pronounce it 3 different ways:

1. singing I-ron (eye-ron)
2. singing Ion (eye-on) sounding almost british
3. singing Iron (eye-ern)

Which way is proper and will make me sound best?
hmm..two conflicting opinions

Well, after working 20 odd years in the recording studio and still at it, option one is close enough. We use eye-wrin as the closest sounding word if somebody has problems sing it. I heard enough variations er-inn (country) to ah-ron.

Although it is a matter of how you sing and pronounce, eye-ron is not as close as eye-wrin or eye-urn.
