I've started a band and I wanna be the frontman. I used to sing in like fifth grade, but since my voice changed I've stopped. I'm usually mocked for trying to sing but I really want to be the frontman for this band. I already take enough lessons for separate things so I am a bit uneasy about taking lessons.
Any suggestions?
Also I'm just singing generic rock, not screamo or any kind of heavy screaming/singing involved.
Try using a so called "online course" – one of those "learn by yourself" courses.
Many are based on e-books, others have audio files and vids – so u can learn using your PC. There are others that let you use a CD Player or DVD player, instead of PC.
A good place to start looking would be http://www.reviewsnest.net/SingingLessons – they review many courses and tell you what to look for when searching for a course (they don't sell you the courses, though). Of course – other places are cool too, as long as they give honest advice.
