if you can hear you’re out of tune then their is a good chance that your voice will improve with a good vocal coach. You need either a local coach or a Skype coach, both of which can be found on internet searches.
My daughter who trains with the same musical theatre company as that which the winner of Disney’s Camp Rock is a member, loves her training and every thing she is learning, she believes the most important thing she has learnt is to sing from the diaphragm using her chest and head voice and a mix, If she had not gone there she may still have continued to belt out songs causing in the long term permanent damage to the vocal chords. Whatever you decide if you take lessons remember to check they teach you to sing from the diaphragm rather than belting out song.
