I just inherited my dad's acoustic guitar and I would love to play it but I have no idea how. I was thinking I would try out some online tutorials and lessons for help. I mean, I have taken vocal classes for a while so Im not lost in the whole notes aspect of music. How long would it take me to learn to play the guitar? Assuming i practiced regularly?
Also is there a guitar lessons website you recommend?
If you want to learn the guitar quickly the best idea is to practice as much as possible. I have played the guitar for about 8 years now and I just leave it laying around so I am more inclined to play it. Try not to get discouraged…it is quite hard at the start.

There is a guy in his mid-twenties that shows you 6 basic chords and then has a number of tutorial videos using those chords. Hope this helps. Good luck
