Okay, I love to sing and I can sing in tune and everything, but the only problem is that I sound like a 9 year old! Is there anything I can try to practice to make my voice sound older?
There are things one can do to sound older. By increasing the pressure below the vocal folds one can force the folds to come together more forcibly (aka pushing) However doing these things will only do you a disservice and shorten the length of your singing voice. Whats the point in singing in a certain manner if its not sustainable?
Enjoy and appreciate the voice you have. If you sound like a 9yr old, great! You'll have the rest of your life to sound older.
