HI there
I really would like to have singing lessons, because it has always been a dream. However, for personal reasons I can not have singing lessons or buy any of these "online Packages" from the internet.
After hearing the Jonas Brothers singing, I crave to be able to sing more than ever.
If you could be so kind, It would be great if you could share some tips with me on how to dramatically improve my voice; I have a very small range, clarity, articulation and tone are a problem and I also find it hard to project my voice loud enough because when I do increase my volume to a normal singing level my singing becomes worse.
In addition to this I have problems with imitating great singers and developning my own style ( at the moment I either sound too British or too American). I aspire to sound like Nick Jonas and I understand It willl take a long time to get anywhere near his level, but I am willing to try my hardest, it's just at the moment I don't know how to start; I don't want to damage my voice for example.
I am british, but I don't want to sound like any typical britsh singers of today, but when I try to change my voice it sounds too american and because I am english it sounds false and stupid. The reason why I want to sound like Nick Jonas so much is because he doesn't sound too american or british and this would be a perfect style for me to adopt.
Thankyou for your time, as I understand that you are very busy.

PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE, thats the key, you don't need lessons, try songs that you like best or that inspire you, once your inspired itll push you to work hard b/c youll want to be able to master that song. Always sing standing up or sitting up, b/c if you dont voices sound cloggy and stuffy, sing from the bottom of your heart, dont stop trying!!!!!!! You accent doesnt matter!! Look for competion on youtube by looking at others acapella of the song you chose!
