 There’s an upcoming talent show at my school, and I want to sing All You Need Is Love with my guitar. The problem is that I have MAJOR stage fright, and I have no self-confidence what-so-ever. Please help!!!! To be honest I can totally fell your situation. I was in the same one a lot of times. I was stuttering losing my nerves, feeling awkward on the stage, my voice vas cracking, people were giving me this strange looks like "what is wrong with you?" …But not anymore! Today I come on the stage totally confident, with a charismatic smile, and I feel confident like a rock on the stage. How comes? Many would say practice. And they are partly right. But let me tell you a secret. It is actually quit deep psychological stuff…the thing is you are frighten is because you associate a lot of pain too playing on the stage, like: what will other people say about you, because you have no experience you voice will sound weird and you will lose it on the guitar… but see what I just did. You are picturing yourself messing up and you feel the fear even if didn’t play yet! Wow! How is that possible? Are you still with me. The thing is you brain doesn’t know what is real and what is imaginary. All it wants is for you to be safe and because it senses pain with your playing on the stage it elimination "fear" hormones. Ok this was now some background so that you understand this. Trick your brain! Yes! Trick your brain that you playing on the stage is the most fantastic experience ever! So the second step now. I hope it doesn’t sound to complicated, but this is the most powerful tool against any fear or phobias. It’s called Neuro Linguistic Programming. You should do this exercise a couple of times. Take at lest10-15 minutes. Well there could also be another reason why you’re scared. Maybe you’re not confident enough about your singing. I can also help you with that. I love singing and all that, but I know I don’t sing well. I don’t feel that bad about it because half of the world can’t sing well. But I want to be able to sing in tune and sing on pitch. I can’t take vocal music classes because of money issues. Are there any exercises, free videos, or anything like that that I could do?

Okay so I used to use microphone but it broke but then my com could just record what i sing with out any problem with out any programs or mic. But when i was going to record again, it wouldn’t record. how can i fix this problem?

I’m trying to edit a j-pop song and I want it to look like a male and female singing it together. Like the deeper pitch sing one line(while the higher pitch is not singing) and vise versa and then they sing the chorus part together. A. To do this: 1. Follow the advice in this tutorial to dim/subdue/strip the vocals: 2. Export the track as wav. Let’s say you name this, "back.wav" 3. Close Audacity and re-do the process given in the tute, with the exception that this time, apply the effect to the other track. This should strip the background music and leave the vocals intact. 4. Export the track as wav again. Let’s say you call this, "vocal.wav" 5. Close the project. B. Let’s suppose the vocals you have are male. Do the following: 1. Import vocal.wav twice into Audacity so that you have two tracks. 2. Name one track "Main" and the other "Fem" so you know what effect you’re applying to what track 3. Select the part you want to convert to female voice in the Fem track. 4. Go to Effects–> Change Pitch and select the "Up" radio button ("Down" if you have female and want to convert to male). Set the Semi-tones to between 4 and 5. This should change the pitch without changing the tempo. Preview and play around with the settings until you’re satisfied. Then hit OK. 5. Leaving the selection where the effect has been applied highlighted, hit Ctrl+C to copy it. 6. Select the exact same part in the "Main" track and overwrite it with the copied part from the "Fem" track. Just paste after selecting. That should do it. 7. Repeat steps 3-6 for all the parts that you want as female (or male if you start out with a female voice). Remember to leave the Semi-tones setting unchanged. 8. Remember to save your project. 9. For the parts where you want both voices, select the part in Fem, change to female voice with Effect–> Change Pitch. Then OK. 10. Where you want only male, select the corresponding part in the "Fem" track and go to Generate–> Silence and hit OK. This will mute the female voice, while "Main" remains for that duration. 11. Play the tracks from start to finish to check if you have the male, female and duet parts to your satisfaction. 11. Mix the tracks by going to Tracks–> Mix and Render (Audacity 1.3.7). This will create one stereo track with the male, female and duet voices. 12. Export to wav. Let’s say you call this, "MF.wav" C. 1. Import the two tracks – back.wav and MF.wav – into Audacity. Play and check if they match. They should. Move sections back and forth if necessary until you’re satisfied. 2. Mix them by going to Tracks–> Mix and Render. 3. Export the mixed track to wav or mp3. Hope this helps. I know it’s a long process but it’s fun.

Im young yeah.But I have always wanted to sing i mean ALWAYS!I want to know how to be discovered in a fast fast way.I feel like if i wait one more day to get started on it im gonna burst i just wanna sing!My life long dream is all i want to do that’s my Plan A Plan B Plan C and all the rest of them.I just need Alot of help on tell me the following:How to be Discovered,How long it will take,How to write songs that can help me(ONLY IF I NEED THEM!),And any other information i need to know make it easy to understand……….Im 10……I mean please help meeeeeeeee!!!I dont care that im 10 thats not the thing im saying how do i get discovered?!?!
