ive never sang before and i really want to. i dont think i have much talent. will voice lessons help me or do nothing?
also any tips for getting your voice better?
The only person I knew who did not get better actually could not hear the difference between high and low. (He played piano.)
Lessons will help. There are exercises you can do, a teacher can help you find, and improve, your range.
You know songs. Nursery rhymes, the national anthem, that song you love on the radio. Sing them, practice, record them and play them back.
Practice singing scales. Learn to breath deep, to keep your face and neck relaxed as you sing. And sing some more.
