I can sing. Of course like everyone else I try to imitate the song’s tone but I ve noticed that I tend to imitate the song just as its played. My friends and choir teacher tell me that i have wide vocal range, that im able to change my voice from baritone to alto to soprano. One day I sang Tamia in her low notes and i was told it was good, then i tried Mariah Carey but they thought i wouldn’t be able to sing it cause she sings high notes, but surprisingly I was able to sing at her note changing my voice to hers. Why is that? Do I need more voice training?

well try to listen to a lot of songs and then setting yourself somewhere in the middle… put your own style and edge on it…
