My dad adopted me not to long ago and i really want to make this fathers day special for him. therefore, i was gonna sing a good fathers day song at church for him. i go to a baptist church so it needs to be really christian like, but also a good song to honor your dad… please help i have til Friday to figure this out!
I think it's wonderful that you want to honor your new dad. I am involved in music ministry at a Baptist church and I think "You Raise Me Up" by Josh Groban would be a good choice. The lyrics are neutral, but not specifically Christian. The song, however, is a "crossover" that has been played on both secular and Christian radio stations.
